Job Description
Our client a worldleader in life sciences and diagnostics industry is looking for aCDxBioSample Coordinator based out of Tucson(Oro Valley) AZ.
Job Duration:Long TermContract(Possibility Of Extension)
Schedule: 6:00 AM to 3PM and/or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Overtime required (flexibility required)
Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2
Performs sampleaccessioning in CDx CAP/CLIA Laboratory. Follows standard procedures inperforming the tasks knowledgeable with CAP CLIA and other accrediting andregulatory agency requirements in laboratory practice and utilizes gooddocumentation practices and following laboratory safety policies. Leads one ormore process improvement work streams within the BioSample Management Group asassigned.
Responsibilities:
- Receives and openssample shipments and performs triaging of samples to respective testinglocations.
- Performs accessioning of samples and quality control of demographic data input.Communicates with clients on held and rejected samples.
- Performs labeling of samples and quality control check of labeling.
- Performs imaging of stained slides returned from Pathology ensuring alldeliverables are met within the required timeline.
- Coordinates the of all internal and client requests including globalshipments of samples while maintaining an accurate chain of custody.
- Manages team email by ensuring all requests have been completed.
- Leads and ensures deliverables are met for one or more process improvement work streams within the BioSample Management Group as assigned.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma orequivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understandingand knowledge of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance is preferred
