The Boeing CompanyPhantom Works is seeking Configuration Management Engineers to join the Phantom Works Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) in Berkeley MO in support of an exciting proprietary program that is critical to Boeing and our DoD Customers. The selected candidate will work with SMEs across the program to develop a complex and highly integrated weapons system while embracing the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering strategy.
The person selected for this role will solve important technical and affordability challenges. Top candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills create an engaging culture and maintain high ethical standards while delivering results. This position requires an individual with Configuration Management & Data Management (CM/DM) experience across multiple phases of a product life cycle including concept development design test and production. Must thrive in dynamic multitasking environment. Must be proficient in CM/DM and Systems Engineering tools and processes. Direct experience with managing multiple configurations in a Digital Engineering environment is highly desired. Experience on teams that have developed and controlled system designs from their earliest stages is a plus.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Configuration Management Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
Schedule and technical of the SEITCM/DM statement of work (e.g. Configuration Management Data Management Configuration Control Board Product Data Manager database)
Development and documentation of the Programs Configuration Management and Data Management program
Ensure Supplier Configuration Management Plans and support of robust change control throughout the product lifecycle
Executing the Programs Configuration Control Boards
Developing innovative approaches to collecting and managing the large volume of digital data;
Daily interface to SEIT manager Program Management Program Chief Engineer Program Teams and Program Customers; Input to performance evaluations performance development and career counseling
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10 of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
(Level 2 2 years of work related experience with a Bachelors or work related experience with a Masters
(Level 3 5 years of work related experience with a Bachelors or 3 years of work related experience with a Masters or work related experience with a PhD
Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
