About the Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional practitioner to join us as a Teacher of Design Technology from September 2025 on a fulltime permanent basis.
We are looking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious teacher with the necessary knowledge expertise and experience of teaching Design Technology and possibly vocational BTEC construction/textiles across the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 age and ability range. We require a teacher with potential areas of specialism in teaching Product Design/Resistant Materials/including Construction. Experience of teaching across the Technology disciplines is welcomed and we welcome enquiries as we seek to seek to strengthen the Vocational offer for pupils at Stansfield Academy.
Our ideal candidate will also have excellent teamwork and communication skills boundless patience and resilience and the ability and enthusiasm to make a difference with pupils who have a range of social emotional and mental health needs.

About the Academy
Stansfield Academy is an Alternative Provision setting providing full time education for children from 416 years of age.
Catchment includes Central Devon including Exeter East Devon and Mid Devon working closely with Devon County Council to ensure a swift transition both into and out of the Academy to minimise the impact on pupils learning.
