Your tasks as a Manufacturing Engineer (all genders) include:
- Technical support for the introduction of new products in the assigned area (New Product Introduction Process)
- You will be responsible for developing prototypes alongside R&D and other key stakeholders
- Testing & validation of optical components production equipment processes and technical changes
- Collaboration on maintenance and the design of production systems and equipment
- Monitoring and maintaining production data to identify analyze and resolve technical problems using statistical methods
- Analyzing and eliminating quality problems
- Technical documentation in German & English
- Involvement in engineering initiatives to streamline existing processes or upgrade technical solutions
Your qualification:
- Very good university or university of applied sciences degree in physics optics or physical engineering or several years of professional experience in assembly production or engineering as a technical expert
- Very good optical/crystal knowledge required
- Very good knowledge of optical mechanical and electronic measurement technology required
- Good knowledge of mechanics and design
- Fluent in both German and English
- Strong team player with a high level of quality awareness
- Analytical thinker with a focus on customer needs
- Selfdriven and solutionoriented approach to work
