Job Description
Location:Edenvale (soon to move to Bedfordview)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (Not CA(SA).
- 12 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage MS Office Excel); Draftworx is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of ledger entries.
- Support monthend and yearend closing processes.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare tax filings and assist the tax manager with accountingrelated tasks.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform administrative tasks related to accounting as needed.
