Job Description
Software Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in manual and automation testing.
- Good knowledge of software testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases for software applications.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the delivery of highquality software products.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various tools.
- Analyze and report defects in software applications.
- Participate in Agile development processes and provide feedback on software quality.
- Stay uptodate with the latest testing tools and technologies.
Categorywise Technical Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Automation Tools:Proficiency with automation testing tools such as Selenium Appium and others.
- Test Case Creation:Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases.
- Defect Tracking:Experience with defect tracking tools and methodologies.
- Agile Methodologies:Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to work within crossfunctional Agile teams.
Experience:
- 8 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Manual Testing:Experience in manual testing including test case creation and .
- Automation Testing:Handson experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Agile Practices:Familiarity with Agile development processes and working in an Agile environment.
DaytoDay Activities:
- Designing and executing test cases for various software applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborating with developers project managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Developing maintaining and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Identifying analyzing and reporting software defects and working with the development team to resolve them.
- Participating in Agile development meetings including daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in testing tools and technologies to continuously improve testing processes.
Qualifications & Soft Skills:
- Educational Qualification:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify issues and provide solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills:Good interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and with crossfunctional teams.
- Adaptability:Ability to adapt to new tools technologies and processes as needed.
- Attention to Detail:Keen attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and highquality software products.
