Our Finance Department is seeking an experiencedProject Managerto oversee IT and process improvement projects. The role follows ahybrid project management methodology withwaterfall planning and agile . The PM will be responsible for project planning inMS Project tracking inJIRA and documentation inConfluence.
The ideal candidate will have experience managingIT application upgrades internal process improvements and API integrations. The role requires strong coordination skills as project teams vary per initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans usingMS Projectand track inJIRA.
- Collaborate withtechnical teams business analysts and stakeholdersto ensure smooth project .
- Manage project documentation and artifacts inConfluence.
- Lead application upgrade projects and coordinate vendor dependencies.
- Drive internal process improvement initiatives such asportal development and API integrations.
- Provide regularstatus updatesto business stakeholders.
- Manage project prioritization and resource allocation based on business needs.
- Ensure adherence to C&Fsproject initiation and processes.
- Minimal budget managementfocus is on tracking resource utilization rather than budget constraints.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5 yearsof experience in project management preferably withinIT or Finance environments.
- Strong experience withMS Project JIRA and Confluence.
- Understanding ofwaterfall planning and agile methodologies.
- Experience managingapplication upgrades process improvements or IT integration projects.
- Ability to coordinate projectswithout direct resource control.
- Strongcommunication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience withfinancial reporting standards (e.g. IFRS17.
- Familiarity withSnowflake Origami or similar data integration projects.
- Background inQA process reengineering or solutions architecture(if applied strategically).
- Local toMorristown NJ or willing to travel occasionally.
