As aMechanical Final Assembleryou will be responsible for assembly of passenger rail vehicles and their components based on specifications stages. You will ensure that all quality requirements and specifications are met in a timely manner. If you are an experienced mechanic who wants to be part of a team that builds quality stateofthe art passenger trains this is the career for you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Production of rail vehicles and their components based on specifications (assembly technology drawings)
  • Read interpret and follow basic blueprints diagrams engineering drawings specifications bills of materials and other written instructions or procedures
  • Perform inspections based on drawing specifications and assembly instruction to insure the quality standards
  • Assembly of equipment and products according to engineering specifications
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations while maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Adhere to set deadlines
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and vocational training in related field
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical and structural assembly experience required
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of electrical pneumatic and hand tools
  • Quick comprehension with a high standard of quality and attention to detail
  • Goaloriented flexible resilient and responsible with a structured work ethic
