Zalandos Customer Care Technology team plays a crucial role in supporting over 4500 customer care specialists serving 50 million customers. As a Tech Consultant you will play a crucial role in driving strategic improvements and technical solutions across Zalando. You will be a key member of a dynamic team focused on optimizing business performance through expert technical guidance and project leadership. You will be working on projects that have a large scale impact supporting important initiatives which help improve Customer Services (processes efficiency etc. at scale. Supporting Global Projects which are of high strategic business or for example compliance value for Zalando as a group.

As a Tech Consultant you will drive significant customer and business impact by guiding and executing improvements across operations profitability management governance security structure and strategy. Your daily tasks will center around:
Strategic Project Leadership:
Designing and leading work packages full projects programs and/or products solving complex problems with innovation and influencing tactical decisions.
Defining clear project plans and success metrics to address business opportunities and problem statements.
Driving the delivery of solutions that optimize defined success metrics.
Business & Technical Requirements Engineering:
Analyzing business requirements considering regulatory and security concerns and translating them into actionable technical specifications.
Collaborating with business stakeholders (e.g. Customer Care Operations Market teams) and engineering to design optimal technical solutions.
Ensuring alignment with Zalandos tech landscape guidelines and security compliance.
Considering desirability feasibility and viability of requested solutions.
Technical Solution Design & Delivery:
Enabling the technical solution design while ensuring alignment with Zalando tech landscape tech guidelines and design principles rules of play and security compliance.
Contributing to the delivery of technical and scalable solutions that drive measurable improvements in business and customerrelevant success metrics.
Orchestrating Salesforce developments Customer Facing Applications and backend services integrations.
Process & Business Optimization:
Conducting endtoend reviews of processes and capabilities identifying areas for improvement and assessing upstream and downstream implications.
Understanding and validating stakeholder needs achieving consensus and facilitating decisionmaking.
Supporting important initiatives which help improve Customer Services (processes efficiency etc. at scale.
Supporting Global Projects which are of high strategic/business/compliance value for Zalando as a group.
Increasingly working in projects which include AI for process and business optimization.
Problem Solving and Analysis:
Reduce ambiguity by decomposing complex problem statements into smaller actionable pieces.
Proactively analyzing successes and failures identifying root causes and driving improvements.
Applying logical frameworks data analysis and statistical models to conduct root cause analyses.

A Tech Consultant requires a blend of technical expertise business acumen strategic thinking and project leadership. Key requirements include:
Technical Proficiency & Expertise:
Expertise in key technologies and tooling with a strong understanding of strategic imperatives.
Experience designing and implementing scalable solutions aligned with organizational standards and security requirements.
Experience with Salesforce Customer Facing Applications and backend services API integrations.
Project Management & Leadership:
Proven ability to design and lead complex projects programs and products.
Ability to define project plans success metrics and drive successful delivery.
Ability to initiate projects and delegate tasks to appropriate team members.
Analytical & ProblemSolving Skills:
Strong analytical skills to conduct process reviews assess impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ability to troubleshoot issues conduct root cause analyses and drive effective solutions.
Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking:
Deep understanding of business and functional motivations with the ability to contribute to strategic objectives.
Ability to understand and validate stakeholder needs achieving consensus and facilitating decisionmaking.
Ability to define the underlying problem and understand the business impact of your work while being able to link it to the Zalando strategy.
Soft Skills & Collaboration:
Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to review and approve documents to support the decision making process.
Experience:
35 years of experience in a comparable role (e.g. Project Manager with technical inclination Product Manager focusing on technical requirements Sales Engineer
