Job Description
OVERVIEW
The University of St. Thomas Biology Department invites applications for a adjunct faculty to teach a variety of biology courses for undergraduate students.
This posting is continuously open and qualified applicants will be part of a pool of candidates for review biannually.

The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5876 to $6585 (per 4 credit undergraduate course 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience.
Adjunct Faculty Teaching Responsibilities to Include:
- Deliver instruction using studentengaged pedagogical approaches
- Provide timely feedback to students re: their grades and progress in course
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Commitment to high quality instruction in a studentcentered environment
- Ability to cultivate an inclusive learning environment that support students with various learning styles and diverse backgrounds
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- A Masters Degree in Biology or related field
- Prior teaching experience and/or professional experience in field
