Your Team & Role

As a Lead DevOps Engineer on our Atlassian tooling team in the Agile Enablement Office you will partner with product owners tech leads software engineers and delivery professionals to improve our Agile planning and tooling suite. You will produce automation solutions that enable us to deploy innovative products services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to advanced technical expertise and experience you will bring excellent problem solving communication and teamwork skills along with agile ways of working strong business insight an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

• Develop the integration and automation for Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence Jira Align) to enhance collaboration and productivity across teams

• Drive continuous quality by integrating code quality security and automated testing capabilities; remove technical impediments

• Introduce automation that will inspire change and drive agile transformation

• Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining features leads in defining technical design. Helps other team members to understand the system endtoend and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impactand support the goals

• Automate unit and integration test cases solve problems and add new value with automation

• Develop corporate platform standards based on capability functional and capacity requirements to drive business value; document solutions to support the adoption of developed solutions

• Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies provide input and coach team members and embed learning and innovation in the daytoday

• Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.

• Use programming languages including but not limited to Python JavaScript Shell Scripting

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields

• Ability to coach others with minimum guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas experiences thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization

• Experience with agile development methodologies and TestDriven Development (TDD)

• Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through selfinitiative and tackling challenges

• Excellent problem solving communication and collaboration skills

• Advanced experience and/or expertise in the several of the following:

  • Atlassian product administration including Jira and Confluence. Jira Align is a plus.

  • Application Programming Interfaces (API): Consumption & Development

  • Dev Ops Tools & Practices: DevOps automation tools practices & capabilities continuous integration & continuous delivery

  • DevOps Platform: Industry standard CI/CD solutions platforms and tools (Atlassian Jenkins GitHub Sonar Artifactory etc. to support lifecycle capabilities.

  • Programming Languages: Python

  • Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

  • Infrastructure fundamentals

    • Database Fundamentals: Schemas Tables Permissions SQL

    • Containers: Docker Kubernetes

  • Test/Quality capabilities & methodologies (functional & nonfunctional) and associated tooling including quality automation

  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Development and Design Fundamentals including SDLC and coding standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ServiceNow

• Experience and knowledge of managing identities and identity protocols Microsoft Entra SAML)

• FastAPI framework knowledge
