Job Responsibilities
- Are you an experienced professional looking for new opportunities to further your career The South Carolina Department of Childrens Advocacy is seeking a hardworking and dependablecandidate just like you to apply! This position will offer great benefits with the state including 15 days of annual and sick leave per year or more depending on applicable state service.Responsibilities of the Case Worker III Clinical Supervisor:Under general supervision provides coaching and supervision in a clinical and administrative capacity using the highfidelity Wraparound care coordination model for the Continuum of Care. Provides direct supervision to Wraparound Facilitators and Wraparound Team Lead(s). Adheres to all agency Security Privacy and HIPAA policies. This position requires an individual to function with limited supervision. Must be able to discern when to seek professional supervision and consultation.Thorough knowledge of the range and scope of services provided by the various agencies and programs serving youth with complex emotional/ behavioral health challenges. Considerable knowledge skills and experience in clinical treatment or care coordination services. Considerable knowledge of the unique treatment needs of youth with mental health challenges and their families. Considerable knowledge of agency administrative policies and procedures. Ability to provide clinical oversight and supervision to staff of varying backgrounds training and experience.
- Supervises staff to include preparing performance planning and evaluation documents and related personnel paperwork. Coaches counsels and trains employees. Establishes and monitors work processes. Implements management policies and initiatives and promotes teamwork.
- Provides supervision and coaching for up to 7 staff utilizing the Wraparound model.
- Provides clinical oversight for services including the review of medical necessity Medicaid Targeted Case Management assessments crisis plans Rehabilitative Behavior Health Services and Plan of Cares according to agency best practice and Medicaid standards.
- Will obtain certification as a State Wraparound coach and must remain in good standing with National Wraparound requirements and SC Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned including but not limited to determining appropriateness of referrals contracted services service note review productivity reporting and youth assignment.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- A masters degree in a human services or social services related field with at least two 2 years of experience with case management two 2 years of experience with children with complex emotional and/or behavioral challenges and one 1 year of supervisory experience; OR a masters degree in a human services or social services related field with one 1 year of High Fidelity Wraparound case management experience and one 1 year of experience working with children with complex emotional and/or behavioral health challenges.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:- Must be licensed and in good standing as a LMSW LPC LISWCP or LMFT in South Carolina.
- Must have a valid South Carolina drivers license.
- Position may require overnight travel and incumbent may be required to report to work during emergency or hazardous weather situations.
- Certification of a negative TB test is required prior to employment.
- Upon hiring candidate must submit an official college transcript or diploma for degree(s) obtained.
- Position requires routine driver duties.
- Position may require employee to work evenings and weekends.
