  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. High School Graduate or equivalent.
    2. Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate basic businessrelated skills.
    3. Computer literate with ability to successfully work with all District operating systems including but not limited to various Microsoft applications such as Word Excel Publisher and Googlerelated functions.
    4. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in order to effectively work within timeline.
    5. Clerical experience beyond minimum required.
    6. Ability to perform duties requiring strictest confidentiality.
    7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with other personnel.
    8. Willing to crosstrain with other positions.

    ADDITIONAL PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Bachelor Degree Associate degree or academic hours completed beyond high school
    2. Experience gained in any unit of the school system.

    SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

    Explicit oral and written instructions received from Supervisor or designee for carrying out the operations to be performed.
    Duties:
    1. Greet visitors while interacting with the public in the school central office or other settings.
    2. Assist public with preschool registration process and ensure awareness of school and district policies.
    3. Share responsibility with other clerical team members in the operation of the preschool program and be directly responsible to the Preschool Coordinator.
    4. Be responsible for preschool records waiting list transportation and class lists.
    5. Assist in areas of public relations and communications with students staff families and community as it relates to the preschool enrollment program and District.
    6. Assist in scheduling as needed exercising priority including:
      1. Preschool registration events;
      2. Preschool enrollment appointments;
      3. Transportation;
      4. Professional development sessions and trainings; and
      5. Any other appointments as required.
    7. Keep constantly informed of school and preschool program policies guidelines and procedures.
    8. Answer incoming phone lines and assist on the phone as needed.
    9. Help pupils staff members and parents with routine problems.
    10. Receive and deliver messages to staff electronic and/or hard copy according to building and district protocol.
    11. Prepare receive and distribute interoffice U.S. and electronic mail as required.
    12. Maintain student information in DASL and permanent record files which include:
      1. Enrolling student and assigning proper EMIS coding of student;
      2. Withdrawing student and releasing pertinent information to school;
      3. Coordinating the distribution of preschool records to PK8 building secretaries; and
      4. Account for all pupils enrolled for the previous year in preschool program.
    13. Maintain all files including:
      1. Busing information and bus attendance;
      2. Busing changes for families teachers and bus garage; and
      3. Reenrollment information.
    14. Export attendance data as directed by Preschool Coordinator.
    15. Assist and support Preschool Coordinator with the following:
      1. Maintaining preschool program licensure and SUTQ.
      2. Coordinating preschool purchases and maintaining inventory.
    16. Verify pupil attendance for staff parents and various agencies as needed.
    17. Assist office of State and Federal Programs with preschool transportation invoice process.
    18. Assist Principals School Community Liaisons and appropriate personnel in recognizing known students with chronic absenteeism.
    19. Support and assist the department of Student Services in daily operations as needed.
    20. Responsible for relieving Front Desk Security Officer for periodic breaks and scheduled lunch.
    21. Abide by the rules regulations policies and procedures of The Warren City School District Board of Education.
    22. Perform other relevant duties as may be assigned by Superintendent Building Principal and/or designated supervisor.

    SALARY: Salary Table E Pay Range III 260262 day 52 week) Contract. Salary per negotiated union contract.

    Employment upon verification of BCI & FBI background checks and all other preemployment requirements are met.
