Accounting Manager

Position Summary:
CoreLife is seeking a handson Accounting Manager to lead daytoday accounting operations and drive financial excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO this role requires a proactive executiondriven leader who ensures timely accurate financial reporting while optimizing accounting processes. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in monthend close financial reporting internal controls and team leadership providing strategic insights to support executive decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Reporting:
- Supervise daily accounting functions ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage monthend and yearend close processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare financial statements and related variance analyses.
- Support internal and external audits ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Other Duties:
- Evaluate and enhance accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist with system upgrades and technology implementations.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and develop accounting staff providing guidance and training.
- Ensure team members meet deadlines and maintain highquality work.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- CPA Designation.
- 2 years of supervisory accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with Oracle Netsuite.
- Experience in companies backed by private equity.
- Accounting or Finance degree.
