Senior Content Designer

The Design team at PhonePe is a multiplicative mix of product designers graphics and motion illustrators and content designers. We craft trustworthy intuitive and empowering products used by millions of people every single day.

As a Senior Content Designer you will approach design through the lens of language. Youll have the opportunity to shape how millions of users interact with our products and services from crafting microcopy for user interfaces to developing larger content strategies. Your work will directly contribute to making complex concepts more understandable and our products more userfriendly.

What youll do:

• Craft concise userfriendly and compelling copy for our product interfaces
• Proactively identify and improve product language through testing and validation
• Harmonise product and marketing language balancing clarity with persuasiveness
• Partner with product designers PMs developers and business leadership to ensure consistent clear and regulationfriendly messaging across PhonePes products
• Create and maintain internal documentation for content guidelines and best practices
• Define and champion our products distinctive voice and tone guidelines
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product terminology guide to ensure consistent usage throughout the product
• Collaborate with design product business and localisation teams to align product language with user needs and capabilities
• Apply systems thinking to content including creating scalable guidelines auditing experiences and contributing to information architecture

What youll need:

• 45 years of handson experience in UX writing for digital products or services
• A strong portfolio of productcentred writing samples and style guidelines
• A Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Technical Writing Product Design English or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience in writing clear compelling and understandable copy that balances style guides user needs and business objectives
• Experience working with Figma or other leading design tools
• Comfort in working in crossfunctional agile teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and resolve conflicts diplomatically
• Comfort in leading projects with minimal direction and handling a large degree of ambiguity
• A strong passion for getting things done in a consistent manner across products and teams
