Job Description
Cedar Park Group is seeking an experienced Solar Field Commissioning Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming installing and troubleshooting solar field arrays with specific experience commissioning fields to track the sun. This is a handson role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to work independently from start to finish on largescale solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and commission solar field arrays to track sun movement accurately and efficiently
Perform starttofinish installation and troubleshooting of solar field control systems
Interpret system schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Calibrate and test field communications and control systems to ensure proper tracking and energy optimization
Identify and resolve issues related to performance connectivity or hardware/software
Collaborate with project managers engineers and field teams to meet project timelines
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes standards and regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience programming and commissioning solar fields (minimum 5 years)
Strong knowledge of solar tracking systems and field network communications
Background in electrical systems solar installations or electrical/solar engineering
Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex system issues in the field
Comfortable working independently in outdoor environments
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
OSHA certification or willingness to obtain
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
