Job Description
Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor
The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Florida seeks a fulltime Pediatric Cardiologist to serve in Heart Failure Transplant and Cardiomyopathy. Proposed academic rank will be commensurate with training and experience. The desired candidate will have a passion to providing exceptional patient care and innovation alongside of our current heart failure transplant cardiologist and advanced practitioners. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
The UF Health Congenital Heart Center is ranked among the nations top cardiology & heart surgery programs by US News & World Report. Our training program includes 4 general cardiology fellows and 2 advanced training fellows. Our combined surgical program treats patients with the highest disease complexity.
The Pediatric Heart Failure & Transplant Program at UF Health is one of the largest and most successful pediatric heart transplant centers in Florida. The heart failure/transplant program at UF Health consists of four heart failure/transplant cardiologists directed by Dr. Dipankar Gupta three cardiac surgeons led by Dr. Mark Bleiweis and a multidisciplinary team.

M.D. or equivalent; board certified or board eligible for their primary specialty (Cardiology).
