Job Description
Situated on the highest point in Brisbanes central business district opposite the picturesque Roma Street Parklands all rooms offer breathtaking views of the city mountains and Brisbanes River.Buzzing with urban energy throughout the day Frescos restaurant serves up enticing buffet favourites for breakfast and a la carte dining for dinner.The menu is uncomplicated featuring simple delights perfectly prepared.
This role is operational in nature you will be responsible for personally preparing and serving food and beverages either in restaurant or function setting.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- To assist in the management and operations pertaining to the proficientand friendly service of food and beverage.
- Lead by example projecting a professional and positiveattitude to ensure staff remain motivated and engaged.
- To assist in the monitoring of daily staffing and ensuring coverage for all areas of service.
- Responsible in ensuring business results are met as per targets provided.
- To manage rosters and instruct team members accordingly.
- To assist with daily briefs and monthly meetings.
- Foster and develop skills of the team via on the job training and development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Supervisory Food & Beverage experience in a similar environment is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of standards of performance for beverage and wine service.
- Ability to train lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of excellent customer service skills.
- Highly organised and motivated with the ability to lead your team to success.
- Ability to handle pressure.
- Flexible approach to work ability to work across a 7 day rotating roster from early mornings to evenings no split shifts required.
- Friendly and positive personality.
- RSA and Food Handlers certificate isessential.
