Job Description:
Draft client product drawings as required
Create detailed designs and drawings for products and subassemblies intended for manufacture
Determine BOM cut sizes based on design specifications
Prepare flat stage drawings for bending and punching processes
Design and draft manufacturing assembly and welding jigs
Ensure that designed parts comply with required standards
Maintain organized and uptodate drawing folders
Create drawings for existing tooling
Design and draft machines and machine parts for maintenance needs
Assist with technical problemsolving during production or product development stages
Program CNC punching machines when necessary as part of the Individual Development Plan
Skills & Experience:
Experience in sheet metal fabrication (preferred)
Inventor/solid works (Advantageous)
Punching programs for CNC punching machine (Advantageous)
Minimum requirements
23 years experience
Technical draughting qualification or diploma
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
