Postman as an API platform has largely been used by the developers to build test and share the APIs and monitor the API usage. The next logical phase for the developers and testers is to observe and verify how the system behaves under different load profiles. To solve this Postman launched a Performance Testing product in alpha phase last year.

With strong positive feedback from our users we would like to make this Generally Available (GA) both for App and Cloud.
The team is expanding and this is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of an early stage product development. The team is focused on identifying further use cases for our users and quickly iterating on the product to deliver the highest impact to our users and the business.
Were looking for an experienced Software Engineer to massively scale this product make this available to the existing 4 million developer network of postman (and beyond) and work towards the monetisation of the same.
Build highperforming server and client systems that are fast testable scalable and highquality
Contribute to code reviews and documentation and take on complex bug fixes
Lead projects from the technical design implementation and launch to operation
Work closely with product managers architects and other stakeholders to gather requirements create technical specifications and develop project timelines.
Onboard and mentor junior engineers
Have 5 years of experience building applications in highlevel programming languages like Javascript Python Golang etc. We primarily code in Javascript.
Have a customercentric mindset and would like to take on challenges irrespective of the difficulty level
Have strong problemsolving skills with a bias for action
Can make informed technical decisions that ensure the security performance and reliability of the teams deliverables
Offer mentorship to junior engineers ensuring best practices and highquality code standards through code reviews and constructive feedback
Have strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Experience with NodeJs React and MySQL
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Contributions to opensource projects or active participation in tech communities
