You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking an experienced Factory HR Head with a strongbackground in Industrial Relations (IR) to lead our HR function at ourmanufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record inmanaging IR issues negotiating with unions and developing strategies topromote positive employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Strategic HR Planning
a)Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
b)Conduct workforce planning succession planning talent development and unit HRand Welfare budgets.
2. IndustrialRelations
a)Manage collective bargaining agreements (LTAs) and labour negotiations.
b)Manage IR issues including negotiations with unions grievance handling andconflict resolution.
b)Develop and implement strategies to promote positive employee relations andprevent IR issues.
3. EmployeeRelations
a)Foster positive employee relations through effective communication andengagement.
b)Address employee concerns grievances and conflicts.
c)Manage disciplinary actions as Certified Standing orders and performanceimprovement plans.
4. Recruitmentand Staffing
Oversee recruitment processesincluding job postings interviews and hiring.
5. Trainingand Development
a)Design and deliver training programs for factory employees.
b)Identify development needs and create growth opportunities.
6. Complianceand Risk Management
a)Ensure compliance with labour laws regulations and company policies.
b)Identify and mitigate potential IRrelated risks.
Experience
1. 15 years of HR experience preferably in a manufacturingenvironment.
2. Proven track record in managing IR issues and negotiatingwith unions.
Skills
1. Strong analytical problemsolving and communicationskills.
2. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office.
3. Knowledge of labor laws regulations and IR bestpractices.
