A wellestablished partner hospital in Merritt Island FL is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This familyowned practice offers comprehensive medical surgical and dental care for dogs cats and other small animals. Located on the beautiful Central East Coast of Florida this hospital provides an exceptional work environment with a focus on highquality care client relationships and worklife balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional medical care for dogs cats and small animals
- Perform physical exams diagnostic tests surgeries and anesthesia
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in patients
- Manage emergency medicine cases
- Educate and communicate with clients regarding their pets health and treatment plans
- Collaborate with a supportive clinical team to ensure the highest level of patient care
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in Florida (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Experience in a variety of clinical settings including general practice surgery and emergency medicine
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Compassionate and patientcentered approach to veterinary care
