Job Description
We are looking for a Sr. UX researcher to help guide platform and tool user experience research from early concepts to optimizing live offerings. This position will work closely with research peers and product leaders to ensure research is embedded throughout the development cycle. The ideal candidate is a problemsolver able to multitask collaborate with others and is flexible/able to shift priorities and methods as needed.
The Sr UX Researcher will employ a variety of research methods to assess Gartners customer experience.
- Implement unmod tests using platforms like UserTesting.
- Work with prototypes in Figma or like tools at various phases of development (low to high fidelity).
- Design and manage UX research efforts from the scoping stage to delivery of final insights/recommendations (screening recruitment guide/task development interviewing tool deployment reporting etc..
- Conduct 1:1 qualitative interviews with users.
- Implement varies tests: A/B testing card sorts heuristic evaluation usability testing tree testing firstclick etc..
- Provide guidance to product leaders throughout product UX milestones.
- Deliver informative reports outlining experience friction points and recommendations.
- Experience with various UX tools (UserTesting/UserZoom Optimal Workshop Miro Calendly Dovetail Figma Fullstory Google Analytcis HotJar Lookback Maze Treejack Chalkmark Mural Usability Hub Ethnio Productboard etc..
Essential musthave skills
- 35 years of UX/UI experience research unmod testing research a must (Usertesting/Userzoom etc..
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly craft research plans deliverables and a schedule to meet stakeholder expectations.
- The ability to quickly identify pain points/friction in customer experience and make recommendations on changes.
- Ability to go deep into the details as warranted. Both a planner and a doer

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 76000 USD 107000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
