Description:
The Credit Manager is a key member of the finance team responsible for overseeing all aspects of credit risk management and ensuring the companys financial health. This role requires a strong understanding of credit analysis underwriting and collections along with excellent communication and problemsolving skills. The Credit Manager will work closely with sales operations and accounting teams to develop and implement credit policies monitor credit risk and manage accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate credit risk.
- Analyze credit applications and make lending decisions based on financial data and risk assessment.
- Monitor customer creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
- Manage the collections process including contacting delinquent customers and negotiating payment plans.
- Analyze and report on credit performance metrics including delinquency rates writeoffs and recovery rates.
- Work with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth credit processes and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor credit analysts and other team members.
- Stay uptodate on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to credit risk management.
- Manage and reconcile accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve credit risk management and collections efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the credit team.
