Pay $17 per hour!
Internship Overview How Youll Contribute:
Internships are professional experiences that students participate in to gain professional skills and experiences. Internships are structured as learning experiences that combine inclass theory with realworld applications. During the internship youwill work directly with the CFO/ VP of Accounting and other personnel as assigned to facilitate Accounting responsibilities. Youwill be involved in numerous aspects of the day to day activities for the ultimate accounting experience.
- Assist with gathering backup support and preparing of Journal Entries.
- Assist with month end close reports.
- Perform various account reconciliations.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.
- Filing & Scanning.
- Answer phone calls.
NOTE: There may be the opportunity for permanent placement.
Qualifications What You Need to be Successful:
- College Student enrolled in Accounting courses with credit hours equaling a Junior or Senior.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for Accounting.
- Selfstarter with demonstrated leadership experience; high initiative and drive.
- Research and analytic skills; capacity to grasp technical details.
- Strong organization time management and project management capabilities.
- Problem resolution skills; able to think through problems resulting in proper course of action.
Hours: MondayFriday 8:00AM5:00PM anywhere between 2040 hours/week. Flexible with school schedules.
