We partner with developers property operators and investors to curate a collection of apartmentlike spaces in handpicked neighborhoods. Our property team members help our buildings thrive by focusing on and ensuring a great experience for both residents and guests. Our nonproperty team members support property and the evolution of other areas within our platform.They can enjoy remotefirst work with the freedom to choose their location as long as they have access to a workspace and reliable WiFi. We believe collaboration is key so our remotefirst teams and property leaders have biannual inperson gettogethers at various locations across the US.
From corporate nonproperty team members to our property teams and leaders were looking for collaborative driven individuals to join us as we continue to expand our presence.
The impact youll have
At Placemakr we know how cleanliness across amenities and common areas contributes to a worldclass experience. As a Houseperson your mission is to support our front of house and back of house team members through your daily tasks to ensure we are consistently operating in compliance with Placemakrs standard of service while being the responsible party for the cleanliness of all common areas of our property. We are seeking individuals who have a utility player mentality excellent time management skills and take pride in how their work contributes to the overall operation. As an integral member of our onsite Property Team you will embody our Property Team Mission with each daily task and interaction and consistently demonstrate that exceptional cleanliness and service is the core of our operation.
This is a fulltime position requiring ability to work during the week weekend evenings and holidays. The exact days of the week will be rotational.

This position is located in the MidCity District neighborhood of Huntsville AL. The pay rate is $19.00/hour.
Your typical day
- Consistently provide an exceptional experience to all Placemakr guests residents and partners by embodying what our guests should think of as a trusted friend and local insider.
- Foster a one team mentality by collaborating effectively with fellow property team members when needed.
- Maintain a safe secure and compliant environment for team members and guests.
- In compliance with Placemakr cleanliness standards clean and remove trash from public areas lobby gym restrooms elevators employee break room and offices and assigned guest units as needed.
- Complete all assigned daily tasks in a timely manner including but not limited to stripping guest rooms running supplies to housekeepers running extra linens and/or cleaning supplies to units upon guest requests and providing ad hoc support to front desk maintenance and housekeeping team members.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers (i.e. guests team members and vendors).
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What it takes
- 1 year of previous housekeeping cleaning or lobby attendant/porter experience (hospitalityspecific experience a plus!
- You have previous experience effectively managing competing priorities multitasking and pivoting focuses with shortturnaround times to support multiple teams.
- You have a cando attitude and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- You demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

- Housepeople will be on their feet and moving around (stand sit or walk for an extended time) and taking a handson approach to work (move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for our Housepeople and an exceptional guest experience.
