WORK TYPE: On Site
LOCATION DETAILS: 5349 W. 76TH Street Indianapolis IN
WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM MondayFriday OT as needed and during peak operations from JulyDec each year.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Screen Print Coating Specialist is responsible for preparing and coating screens with emulsion to ensure highquality screen printing results. This role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced production environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Apply photosensitive emulsion evenly onto screens using proper coating techniques.
- Ensure screens are coated to meet required specifications for different printing applications.
- Monitor and maintain proper drying conditions for coated screens.
- Inspect screens for defects and inconsistencies before and after coating.
- Operate and maintain coating and drying equipment ensuring proper functionality.
- Work closely with the screen reclaim and exposure teams to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures related to chemical handling and screen preparation.
- Maintain an organized and clean coating area.
- Assist with screen inventory management and tracking.
- Support other screen printing production tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
- Comfortable working with chemicals emulsions and coating equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing lifting bending).
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in screen printing or screen preparation is a plus but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is performed in a production facility with exposure to chemicals water and various printing materials.
- Frequent standing bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
