Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an Associate in Software Configuration Management to join our team. This entrylevel role focuses on supporting the implementation and maintenance of software configuration management processes ensuring compliance with company standards and assisting with the management of software build releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining control and traceability of software products.
- Support the release process for software builds and updates under supervision.
- Help organize software configuration control board meetings and document proceedings.
- Participate in configuration audits under guidance to ensure adherence to contract requirements.
- Assist in generating and distributing software media for customer deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Some knowledge of software configuration management practices.
- Exposure to the Agile software development lifecycle.
- Willingness to work in a fastpaced environment and learn continuous integration/development practices.
- Ability to assist with creating archiving and maintaining software builds and releases.
- Experience with version control and defect management tools is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems is a plus.
