Your next career opportunity
As a Project Coordinator in the Advancing Students and Education strategy team youll play a crucial role in shaping the future of education at the University of Melbourne. Youll manage key initiatives to improve curriculum teaching quality and student support working closely with senior executives and diverse stakeholders across the institution. This role offers you the chance to directly impact student experiences while developing your project management and leadership skills in a highly collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support Strategic Projects: Draft and maintain project plans monitor progress and identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the university and support their contributions to projects.
  • Effective Administration: Coordinate funding governance activities and other enabling processes for programs that enhance education and the student experience.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct desktop research prepare highquality resources and develop a deep understanding of projects and stakeholders.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a skilled project coordinator with excellent communication and analytical abilities capable of contributing to strategic initiatives in a complex higher education environment while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

You may also:

  • Have experience in teaching and learning higher education or public policy settings.
  • Possess strong writing skills adaptable to various purposes and audiences.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills for engaging with staff stakeholders and students.
  • Show good judgement and the ability to anticipate project and stakeholder needs.
