Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patients speech and language abilities to develop accurate diagnoses
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients needs
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals including nurses physical therapists occupational therapists and primary care providers
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license or certification in SpeechLanguage Pathology (CT)
- Previous experience as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients and families
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
