Job Description
Now hiringCafeteria Cooks in the Tyler TX area.
Hourly Wage:$16/HR
Shift:
7AM 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently prepare portion cook and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast Lunch Dinner and Special/Catered Events.
- Cooking to order on GRILL STATION for BF and Lunch serving on a hot line to customers keeping food under controlled temperature and portion correctly.
- Taking temperatures of protein to ensure they are cooked to correct safe temperature.
- Assist with prep for catering.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred..
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling baking boiling etc..
Working Conditions:
This position requires working on your feet lifting heavy objects and working in a busy kitchen environment within a hospital setting. The ability to bend stoop and move swiftly is essential.
