About the role:
In this role youll be at the heart of Maersks mission to provide worldclass service and drive smooth efficient operations across borders. Youll manage customer experiences ensure smooth customs processes and tackle challenges headon making a real difference for our clients and the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service and timely support ensuring smooth transit of goods across borders.
- Ensuring accurate customs declarations taxes and payments for seamless border clearance.
- Identifying and resolving issues that improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing customs clearance and compliance to maintain efficiency and prevent disruptions.
- Representing Maersk in customer visits and promoting our Customs products.
- Building strong relationships with Customs Authorities Maersk teams and customers for ongoing success.
Who we are looking for:
- A degree in International Trade Logistics or a related field.
- Experience as a Customs Agent with a good understanding of ocean air truck and customs export processes.
- Background in customs clearance compliance and international commerce or related areas in logistics.
- Good knowledge of customs procedures forwarding and shipping.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- A keen eye for detail and a processoriented approach to your work.
- A proactive and dynamic mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Fluency in English (B2 or higher) and Spanish (mandatory).
- Organized: You thrive in structured environments keeping everything in order and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Time Management: You manage your time effectively meeting deadlines and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Prioritize Workload: You can assess and prioritize tasks effectively ensuring the most important jobs get done first.
- Multitasking: Youre comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities simultaneously maintaining focus and performance.
