Job Description
We are looking to expand our Group Benefits team by hiring an Account Representative. This role will focus on providing customer service and renewal assistance for Gilsbar clients within the designated block of business.
The perfect candidate for this position will possess a positive attitude with a keen eye for detail a creative mindset and a strong passion for advocating for customers. Additionally they should be capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively across different departments.
Job Duties:
Initiate and monitor the renewal process for an assigned block of business.
Collaborate with colleagues to devise strategies for account renewals and oversee the market assessment process.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the benefitrelated products offered by Gilsbar and participate in product training sessions.
Engage with clients producers carriers and other departments to discuss policy language and coverage details.
Serve as primary contact and resource for clients assisting plan participants with inquiries about enrollment coverage and other related topics.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Health and Life license is required within 30 daysof employment.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to adhere to a work schedule and work independently.
Proficient verbal and nonverbal communication skills; able to read and interpret documents and produce routine reports and correspondence.
