Join Sunwater as a Network Administrator where youll play a vital role in implementation maintenance and support of Sunwaters network infrastructure. You will be part of the infrastructure team that ensures a secure and efficient ICT environment for the organisation across corporate and operational technology networks.
As a Network Administrator at Sunwater you will:
- Lead ongoing maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure across Queensland including switches routers firewalls and other network devices.
- Participate in high level network architecture design planning workshops for network upgrade projects and be able to provide expert advice and input into the architecture of the Sunwater network.
- Partner with other business units to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with operational technology systems.
- Manage vendor relationships for network support agreements with managed service providers in line with contractual expectations.
- Review create and maintain architectural documentation of Sunwaters network assets.
We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in network administration including demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto NGFW and Cisco Meraki. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience and training. Additionally you should have handson experience in implementing managing and resolving issues related to network infrastructure devices within a complex WAN environment spanning segmented ICT and Operational Technology networks.
You will also bring:
- Cloud computing connectivity experience (Azure and Express Route)
- Cisco Meraki Configuration and Management Experience
- Relevant industry certification (e.g. PCNSE PCNSA PCSFE CMSS CCNA CCNP Network)
- Experience with network technologies such as Routers Switches Access Points SDWAN NGFW Proxy/Web Filtering VPN NAC 802.1x
