Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Counselor to join our team at The LeadSense Media India Pvt Ltd. As an Academic Counselor you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in making informed decisions about their academic and career goals. This is a fulltime position based in Chennai Tamil Nadu India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in academic counseling.
Qualifications and Skills
- 13 years of experience in academic counseling or related field.
- Strong knowledge of educational institutions programs and admission processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with students and parents.
- Proficient in sales processes and techniques.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide academic counseling and guidance to prospective students and parents.
- Assist students in identifying and clarifying their educational and career goals.
- Conduct oneonone counseling sessions to assess students interests aptitudes and abilities.
- Inform students about various academic programs admission requirements and career opportunities.
- Assist students in the college application and enrollment process.
- Coordinate with teachers administrators and parents to ensure student success.
- Keep updated records of student interactions and progress.
- Attend educational fairs conferences and other events to promote the companys services.
- Stay uptodate with changes in educational policies and trends.
