JoKell Inc. is an electrical distributor and solutions provider serving the military commercial marine and industrial markets. We are currently hiring for an Inside Sales Representative in San Diego CA .
Our sales team is the cornerstone of our success. We are looking for individuals with a sales or technical background in industrial electrical components and systems (industrial marine electrical experience preferred) who have or are looking to obtain a career in sales to industrial and/or marine markets.

Earning potential is $4767k dependent upon experience. This position qualifies for commission once independent in role.

Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting our existing customers and outside sales team by managing requests for quotes (RFQs) and providing accurate competitive pricing. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service ensuring customers receive the best solutions for their needs and maintaining strong relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Responding to RFQs from existing customers researching and sourcing products to provide competitive and accurate quotes.
- Collaborating with the outside sales team to support customer needs and ensure a seamless sales process.
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of our product offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Assisting with inventory management and product availability to ensure accurate quoting and order processing.
- Providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries about pricing product availability and order status.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
- 2 years of experience in sales customer service or a related role (experience in the electrical product industry preferred).
- Familiarity with electrical products or military/industrial applications is a plus (e.g. Electrician or Ship Maintenance experience).
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Sales Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customerfocused approach.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint (or similar software).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers handle or feel objects tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
