Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef (hot kitchen pizzas and other hot dishes) to join our friendly kitchen team atPizza on the Park. This full time position 45 hours per week worked over 5 shifts) offers a fantastic learning experience to an entrylevel chef who knows the basics ideally has a little bit of pizza experience and is looking to take on a new challenge and that next step in their career!

Our goal is to have kitchen teams that are happy and productive our chefs dont work crazy hours have a supportive Head Chef who is willing to develop the teams skills and ensure a good work life balance with Christmas off and a rota pattern that you can plan around! There is an excellent training ethic in this kitchen progression is very possible for those that have the right attitude and get stuck in!
As Commis Chef youll be working in our hot kitchen helping produce our perfect pizzas and other delightful Italian dishes all prepped from fresh seasonal ingredients. We make proof and stretch all of our dough in house with super fresh toppings.
Key information for the Commis Pizza Chef role:
Hours:45 hours per week worked over 5 shifts on a rota basis (to include evenings and weekends)
Salary:12.30 per hour plus monthly service charge
What youll be doing as Commis Pizza Chef:
- Working in the hot kitchen section (pizzas hot dishes)
- Working with fresh ingredients locally sourced as well as imported Italian produce
- Learning new techniques to further your development
- Involved in service from day one
- Acting as a good team player getting stuck in as required

Youre friendly confident and a great team player. Ideally youll have a bit of experience with pizza. You love to cook with fresh quality ingredients and are passionate about providing our valued customers with excellent food. You are able to maintain high standards in all aspects of your role and are keen to learn and progress! You will be looking to get valuable experience within a fastpaced team where youll get to be involved in service from the word go not preparing veggies all day!

The interview process:
The interview process will involve a first round telephone interview with a member of the HR team. Applicants who are successful at this stage will then be invited in to a short trial at the restaurant (lasting approximately 23 hours).
