This role reports into our Ellsworth Dispensing Solutions (EDS) Division located in Sparks NV. The ideal candidate will be able to work onsite in Sparks.

You will develop basic drawings and specifications for existing and new design projects and assist with the design of mechanical systems and/or machinery utilizing design and ERP software.
Responsibilities
- Create review and updates of basic documentation including drawings models bill of materials quotes and engineering summaries utilizing CAD Systems and ERP software
- Prepares product documentation (i.e. manuals work instructions assembly instructions data sheets etc)
- Prepares Bills of Material (BOM) and parts list repositories
- Conducts assigned projects ensuring that work is completed within budgetary and time constraints while meeting customer and contractual demands
- Assess customer requirements evaluate engineering design and create complete drawing packages
- Model components to define recommended parts procurement

Qualifications
0 years of experience
Bachelors degree from a fouryear college in Engineering or relevant field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent
Certifications in SolidWorks (i.e. CSWA CSWP CSWE CPPA etc. preferred
Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred- Good problem solving and analytic skills (i.e. can conduct root cause analysis make recommendations and track results).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to write and document manufacturing process inspection and testing procedures
- Capability to communicate coach and train shop floor team members on processing information
- Basic knowledge of electronics components and electronic assemblies.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical personnel
- Ability to lift 25 Pounds on occasion up to 50 Pounds
- Travel less than 5 International /Domestic
