Job Description
IMDC Inc. Inc. is seeking two Resident Project Representatives Construction Inspectors (Electrical Concentration/Airfields) with 10 years of experience in construction management and/or public works management. These assignments will be located in located in Broward County Florida.
POSITION DUTIES: Conduct onsite observation of work repairs and test as needed; Monitors progress schedule and shop drawing log; General civil engineering and municipal client service; Effective communication both oral and written with residents businesses and public agency representative; Resolve construction conflicts and prepare costeffective solutions; Review pay requests and verify work completed; Endeavor to provide protection for owner against defects and deficiencies in the work; Serve as liaison with contractor working principally through contractors superintendent; Maintain job site records of Daily Reports job meeting minutes approved shop drawing submittals and pay requests; Maintain records of time equipment and material needs for any changes in the work that may result in a change order. Review and request adjustments of compensation and/or contract time; Observing measuring and documenting construction activities; Maintaining a daily log of construction activities; Preparing payment estimates; Addressing resident complaints and concerns; Coordinating with the contractor and other duties as needed or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have high school diploma or equivalent 10 years experience in construction management. Ability to work flexible hours.
