Position Summary
The Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha is recruiting a Solid Organ Transplant SOT )ID and OncologyID physician to join our faculty. This is an opportunity to join a team of professionals dedicated to the care of patients who have infectious diseases complications associated with solid organ transplant or stem cell transplantation or treatment of underlying hematologic or solid tumor malignancies. The Division is a robust group comprised of 30ID physiciansas well as APPs and clinical and research support staff. We provide full spectrum infectious disease care at our clinical partner Nebraska Medicine. We also have an academic mission within our fellowship program and collaboration with other graduate and undergraduate medical education programs. Opportunity Highlights: Provide care for both inpatients and outpatients in the stateoftheart Fred & Pamela Buffet Cancer Center Collaborate with highly accomplished colleagues in solid organ transplant ID Prioritization of physician wellbeing with ample resources and leadership support Abundant clinical and translational research opportunities with protected time and support Teach medical students residents and ID fellows on the Solid Organ Transplant SOT )ID and OncologyID consult service Community Highlights: Live in a TopRated City!
