Job Description

Position Summary
Visiting Professors are responsible for teaching curse in the Special/Gifted Education Department. This will be conducted via ZOOM with will be liveonline.

Duties And Responsibilities
This position requires experience with collaboration and coteaching as well as teaching diverse learners. Other responsibilities will be grading assignments entering midterm and final grades and answering emails from students and faculty. Also there is required attendance at all Special/Gifted Education Department meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum requirements include a Doctoral degree in the area of Special Education or closely related area. The candidate will have two or more years of experience in the schools as a special education teacher or in related service. They will be capable of teaching and communicating with colleagues and students via electronic and digital modalities Demonstrated knowledge and experience in various teaching modalities including facetoface online asynchronous and blended learning. ABD will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the minimum requirements the candidate will have five or more years of experience in the schools as a special education teacher or in related service.
