The Obstetrics & Gynecology Research Network has an opening for a Grant/Contract Officer III . Independently completes preaward and postaward administration of research grants &/or contracts. This position is evenlysplit with effort for both preaward and postaward activities.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Proficient with all the duties and responsibilities of a GCO II Independently completes complex proposals for a variety of sponsors. Completes complex award administration for activities including award setup modification and maintenance. Ensures federal compliance by reviewing procedures/policies. Asks questions/provides answers demonstrating greater depth of knowledge of University and sponsor requirements Leading in collaborative work with other teams in the unit or on special projects with minimal manager support Serves as a liaison to sponsors Utilizes prior experiences to identify issues and offer guidance to others Issues are varied and involve some evaluation and interpretation. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences with analysis of the issue requiring innovation and creativity. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree two years of related experience or 10 years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). This position is patientsensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
