Amentum has an exciting opportunity for aFullTimeProject Manager Proposals to join their team inAlice Springs NT Australia.

THE ROLE
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Project Manager Proposals is a key member of the Project Development Office within Amentums Engineering Projects Integration & Construction (EPIC) team. Based in Alice Springs this role delivers proposal development services in support of construction operation maintenance and management of facility assets infrastructure and systems within the scope of Amentum programs and pursuits within Australia. This position plays an integral role within a diverse and complex work environment that is responsible for the management and control of critical infrastructure configuration construction and project management.
The Project Manager Proposals is responsible for working with the Project Development and broader EPIC teams to deliver clear and robust proposal solutions and packages that meet both the corporate business goals and customer expectations as well as align with relevant governing policies. This position will be required to integrate with key stakeholders and contributors at all levels of the EPIC team and corporate/program leadership in leading the development of effective efficient and timely proposals often under tight deadlines.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
- Manage the endtoend proposal development and submission process including interpretation of RFPs coordinating RFIs developing solution strategies SOW preparation bid analysis strategic planning and package development.
- Analyse tender/RFP requirements and develop proposal strategies.
- Lead and facilitate the development review and release of all required proposal elements.
- Develop detailed project packages in support of awarded proposals.
- Support and manage project as assigned.
- Ensure all proposal documentation is maintained IAW current document control processes.
- Ensure promote and maintain health and safetypractices/compliancesat site and within the workplace.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Undergraduate Qualifications Field: Business Management or Project Management.
Desirable
- Post Graduate Qualifications Field: Business Management or Project Management.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Minimum Essential
- Proposal and Project Management process knowledge
- Proposal document preparation using Microsoft Office and Adobe suites
- Document Management experience
Desirable
- Experience developing proposals/bids
- Proposal planning and Microsoft Project
- Scheduledevelopment/management
- Construction project management and estimation
- SharePoint and MS Project experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- Typical office environment with no unusual hazards occasional lifting to 10kgs kneeling standing and walking routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication constant mental alertness and must be able to work under deadlines.
STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

EHS REQUIREMENT
