Job Description
54 mos. exp. or 54 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration accounting finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration accounting finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or 12 mos. exp. as Senior Financial Analyst 66563.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.

- Perform standard supervisory activities (establish unit goals assign work provide direction monitor and evaluate performance recommend discipline recommend applicants to hire approve/deny leave requests conduct staff meetings etc.
- Supervise coach and develop a staff of Financial Analysts including a Senior Financial Analyst
- Oversee the review and approval of accounts payable transactions including the approval of Medicaid provider payment files:oversee financial issue resolution and authorize appropriate action.
- Establish work procedures provide guidance and training to fiscal staff
Compensation is as listed on the posting unless required by legislation or union contract.
The work location of this position is 50 West Town Street Columbus Ohio 43215. You will be required to report to this work location fulltime if selected.
Travel required as needed. Must provide own transportation. Or in order to operate a state vehicle you must have a valid drivers license from state of residence.
