Job Description

Job Summary
The Department of Finance and Real Estate in the College of Business the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a fulltime tenuretrack Assistant Associate or Full Professor position with a focus on banking beginning Fall 2025. Applicants for the Full Professor position may be considered for an endowed chair.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities are conducting high quality academic research conducting banking industry outreach and managing a certificate/program in banking. Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in banking as well as finance or real estate is also required. Applicants must be willing to support the departments banking and other initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must have earned a doctorate in finance or a related field from an accredited (or equivalent) college or school by the date of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with strong research records and teaching experience in the relevant areas. Experience in developing or administering bankingfocused courses certificates or degree programs would be helpful. Experience in industry outreach and/or network connections to relevant financial institutions will be considered favorably.
