JOB TITLE #2745:CArm Technician Bronx NY
Must have previous experience in a related field
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a CArm Technician to fill an opening with a multispecialty practice located in Bronx New York.
Responsibilitiesof theCArm Technician:
- The CArm Tech performs radiographic exams for physicians or will assist providers using a CARM
- Responsible for safely demonstrating proficiency in patient care skills superior knowledge of radiography and has compassion for those he or she assists
- Take pride and ownership in their duties by checking equipment daily for leaks or spills and any issues which may present safety concerns
- Operate CARM fluoroscopy machines to capture highquality images during various medical procedures including surgeries and interventional radiology
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the positioning of the CARM for optimal image acquisition
- Adjust imaging parameters such as exposure settings contrast and resolution to obtain clear and diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols including the use of lead aprons and shields
- Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on CARM equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs when needed
- Maintain accurate patient records including procedure documentation and image archiving
Requirements
- Must have a valid NY state license
- Must have previous experience as a technician in a related field (e.g. electronics automotive medical)
- Must have familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
Benefits
- The salary for this position is $25 $45 / hr (Negotiable)
