Prospero Teaching is looking to appoint an outstanding Physics Teacher for a school in Reading with an excellent reputation. The school wishes to appoint a talented and motivated Teacher of Science with a Physics Specialism.
The school prides itself on being committed to firstclass teaching and achieving high standards across the curriculum. The successful candidate would be joining a sciencedepartment that has a proven track record of success with their pupils who are highly motivated and wellbehaved. The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent subject knowledge in Physics
- Have experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment
- Have a genuine belief in the potential of every child
- Have high expectations for all pupils
- Have a flexible can do attitude
- Successfully manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour
- Encourage students to reach their full potential
- Be patient and have a good sense of humour
Qualifications:
- Have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent with good standing
- You hold the right to work and teach in the UK (UK Passport Ancestry Visa Spousal Visa or Youth Mobility Visa)
- Be eligible for QTS
- Have uptodate Safeguarding training within the last year (Prospero offers accredited CPD training)
- Successfully undergo RCMPcertified criminal record checks
- Provide at least two professional teaching references covering the last two years
