Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION


* Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of diesel engines hydraulic systems trucks and/or other heavy equipment
* Interpret work orders and technical manuals
* Repair or replace defective parts components or systems
* Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets manufacturers specifications and legislated regulations
* Regular attendance is required
* Inspect troubleshoot diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) company and any other Federal State or Local regulations
* This is not an allinclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances. Operations safety and other needs may require the employee to perform any and all other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


* Must have a CDL Class B or higher
* Must have acceptable MVR
* Must have 35 years experience in diesel engines and hydraulic systems
* Must be willing to travel
* Must have own tools
* Physical activities include: walking lifting twisting turning climbing Etc.
* Must work in a neat orderly and safe manner
* Should have specific knowledge of heavy truck repairs in a commercial environment including diesel engine systems diagnostics to ensure equipment is operating appropriately
