Executive Sous Chef Museums Victoria
Are you ready to make your mark in the culinary world combining your passion for food with an inspiring cultural setting The Fresh Collective in Melbourne is seeking a dynamic and innovativeExecutive Sous Chef to help lead our culinary team at Museums Victoria delivering exceptional in and outside catering and events as well as dining experiences in one of Melbournes most iconic institutions.
About Us: Museums Victoria is home to some of Australias most treasured collections and exhibitions. With multiple venues attracting visitors from across the globe the aim is to provide not just aweinspiring exhibits but also THE go to venue for amazing functions and events as well as great culinary experiences in the various restaurants on site.
The Role:
As the Executive Sous Chef youll work closely with the Executive Chef to:
- Lead and inspire our kitchen teams focusing on our many amazing events as well as multiple onsite venues
- Assist in crafting creative seasonal menus that reflect our diverse audience and vibrant community.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality presentation and safety.
- Oversee kitchen operations including inventory budgeting food safety and team training.
What Were Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience as a Head or Exec Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a highperforming team.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and cost management.
- A collaborative attitude with a commitment to excellence and creativity.
- Current Food Safety Qualifications
