We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Software Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for quality assurance and testing. In this role you will focus on ensuring the reliability and functionality of our applications through manual and automated testing with opportunities to grow into development and DevOps responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and define test plans.
Design develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
Manage and maintain test cases in Zephyr to track testing progress and coverage.
Test and validate APIs to confirm functionality and performance.
Identify document and track bugs working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and tools.
Support the deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals including objectoriented programming version control (e.g. Git) and basic algorithms.
Familiarity with testing principles and methodologies including manual and automated testing.
Experience managing test cases in Zephyr or similar test management tools is highly preferred.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman REST Assured) is a plus.
Proficiency in .NET programming languages (e.g. C# is highly preferred.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms particularly Microsoft Azure including services such as Azure App Services Azure DevOps or Azure Storage is beneficial.
Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and their role in software delivery.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
